Upper Delaware Scenic & Recreational River
(New York & Pennsylvania)
This park site comprises 73 miles of the Delaware
River in the area where it divides New York from
Pennsylvania. Camping and fishing are some of the
recreational activities here. In addition to the river,
the park site also includes the home of Zane Grey, a
famous writer of the early 1900's, and the Roebling
Bridge over the river linking the two states. The
bridge is the oldest existing wire-cable suspension
bridge.
