USS Arizona Memorial (Hawaii)

This park site is a memorial to our servicemen killed
in action on Dec. 7, 1941, when Japan attacked
Pearl Harbor.  On that day, 2,390 of our servicement
died.  About half (1,177) were crewmen aboard the
battleship USS Arizona.  The actual memorial lies
atop the sunken ship.
