Tallgrass Prairie National Preserve (Kansas)

This park site preserves an example of the tallgrass
prairie ecosystem which existed throughout much of
what is now the United States before European
exploration took place.  Very little of it remains now
so it is important that this park preserves some of
what remains.  The park site also includes a ranch
house and a one-room schoolhouse.
