Sagamore Hill National Historic Site (New York)

This park site contains the home of Theodore
Roosevelt from 1896 until his death in 1919.  He was
the 26th President.  Much of the house looks like
when he lived here and you can tell he was an avid
outdoorsman.  There is also a museum.

Junior Ranger patch
When I first earned the
badge there was a
single Junior ranger
booklet and they
awarded the badge.
Since then, they
redesigned the
program.  When I
returned I found out
that they now had
three booklets, one
each for the house, the
museum, and the
nature trail.  If you
complete one booklet
they award the badge
but if you complete all
three booklets they
also award the patch.
