Natchez Trace Parkway (Tennessee, Alabama, &
Mississippi))

This 444-mile parkway generally follows the Old
Trace, or trail, used by American Indians and early
settlers between Nashville, Tennessee and Natchez,
Mississippi from about 1790-1830.  Mt. Locust
Historic Inn, near Natchez, and Colbert Ferry, near
Cherokee, Alabama, are two historic locations on the
parkway.  There are also campgrounds along it.
