Mount Rushmore National Memorial (South
Dakota)

This park site contains the world famous sculpture of
four Presidents carved into the mountain:  George
Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln,
and Theodore Roosevelt.  It is located in the Black
Hills region of South Dakota.  The memorial was
completed in 1939.  The sculptor who supervised the
entire project was Gutzon Borglum.  It is a very
awesome thing to see.
