Manassas National Battlefield Park (Virginia)

On this park site there were two famous battles of
the Civil War:  July 21, 1861 and Aug. 28-30, 1862.
The Confederates won both battles.  At the first
battle, Gen. Stonewall Jackson rallied his troops and
got his nickname.  The second battle was won by
Gen. Robert E. Lee.
