Lassen Volcanic National Park (California)

This park site contains all four of the types of
volcanoes which exist in the world:  lava dome,
shield, cinder cone, composite.  Present in the park
are boiling springs, steaming fumaroles, mud pots,
and sulfurous vents.  One of the volcanoes, Lassen
Peak, was active on and off from 114 to 1921.
