Herbert Hoover National Historic Site (Iowa)

This park site features the small cottage where the
31st U.S. President was born in 1874.  Information
about his life is in the visitor center.  Other buildings
on the site are a blacksmith shop from that time and
a one-room schoolhouse.

Herbert Hoover was born in this cottage, in West Branch, Iowa.  It is preserved at Herbert Hoover National Historic Site.  The Maslows visited here in 2005.
