Harry S Truman National Historic Site (Missouri)

This park site includes the Truman home in
Independence, Missouri, and the Truman Farm
Home in Grandview, Missouri.  Harry S Truman was
our 33rd President.  He lived in the home from 1919
until his death in 1973.  When he was President, the
home was the "Summer White House."  When he
was a young man, Mr. Truman worked on the farm.
The visitor center is several blocks away from the
house in Independence.  It has personal mementos.
