Great Falls Park (Virginia)

This is a sub-unit of George Washington Memorial
Parkway but issues its own Junior Ranger badge.  It
is located on the Virginia side of the Potomac River
where the Great Falls, a waterfalls, is located.  Most
people who come here do so for recreation, to do
things such as hiking, picnicking, or fishing.  This
park also has something special for kids who are
really into the Junior Ranger program.  I was really
fascinated by it.  It is a display case on a wall in the
Visitor Center which you see as soon as you walk in,
which has Junior Ranger badges, patches, and pins
from all over the country.
