George Washington Memorial Parkway (Virginia)

This park site consists of a roadway which
preserves scenery on the Virginia side of the
Potomac River.  It runs from the Great Falls of the
Potomac, in the north, to Mount Vernon, in the
south.  Along the way, there are park sites which
can be explored, including the Claude Moore Colonial
Farm, Theodore Roosevelt Island, and the Lyndon
Baines Johnson Memorial Grove.  The various park
sites which are accessible by way of the George
Washington Memorial Parkway are the subjects of
the park site's Junior Ranger booklet.
