Ford's Theatre National Historic Site (District of
Columbia)

This park site consists of the theatre where Pres.
Abraham Lincoln was assassinated on Apr. 14,
1865, by John Wilkes Booth.  Numerous historic
objects are there including the gun, Booth's diary,
pictures of the trial of the conspirators, and Lincoln's
outfit.  The park site also includes the House Where
Lincoln Died (Petersen House) across the street.
