Eisenhower National Historic Site (Pennsylvania)

This is the home and farm of Pres. and Mrs. Dwight
Eisenhower.  He bought it in 1950 after he left the
army where he served as America's top general in
World War II.  The house is furnished exactly as it
looked during the period when the Eisenhowers lived
here.  To reach this park site you must take a free
shuttle bus from Gettysburg National Military Park,
which is adjacent.

The patch is a
combined one for both
Gettysburg National
Military Park and
Eisenhower National
Historic Site.  You get
it after completing the
Junior Ranger booklet
at Gettysburg National
Military Park.  The two
parks are next to each
other and are
administered jointly.
Eisenhower National
Historic Site has its
own separate program
and booklet which is
called "Junior Secret
Service."  The park
specifically permits
you to do it by mail
and you can do it on
site.  When I did it by
mail I got a silver
Junior Secret Service
badge.  When I went
there in person and
completed the booklet,
I got a gold Junior
Secret Service badge.
Afterwards they
started issuing a silver
Junior Secret Service
badge with the park's
name on it.
You can earn this site's
Junior Secret Service
badge by mail.  You
don't have to visit it in
person but you do have
to look up information on
the
Website for
Eisenhower National
Historic Site.

below of the cover of
the Junior Secret
Service booklet to
download the entire
booklet.  Then print it
out and follow the
booklet's instructions.
Mail it back to
Eisenhower National
Historic Site and they
will send you the badge.
