Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area
(Pennsylvania & New Jersey)

The middle portion of the Delaware River passes
between mountains to form an area where people
hike, boat, and fish.  This park also includes
Millbrook Village, a restored 1800's village with
period shops.  The entire unit is called Delaware
Water Gap National Recreation Area.  The Middle
Delaware National Scenic River (the river area itself)
is considered a separate unit of the National Park
Service but its functions are administered by
Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area.
Middle Delaware National Scenic River does not
have its own separate Junior Ranger program.
