Chickamauga and Chattanooga National Military
Park (Georgia & Tennessee)

This park site consists of several subunits where
Civil War battles occurred.  A major Confederate
victory took place at Chickamauga Creek, in
Georgia, on Sept. 19-20, 1863.  Union victories took
place at Orchard Knob, Lookout Mountain, and
Missionary Ridge in Chattanooga, Tennessee, from
Nov. 23-25, 1863.
