Channel Islands National Park (California)

This park is comprised of five islands off the
southern California coast.  (Three other islands are
not part of the park.)  To get there you must take
boats, although the visitor center is on the mainland.
Plants and animals on the islands are protected.
Some species are unique to the islands.  Also
protected is the marine life near the islands.
