Blue Ridge Parkway (Virginia & North Carolina)

This is a 470-mile parkway which runs from south of
Shenandoah National Park to the eastern entrance to
Great Smoky Mountains National Park.  It runs along
the crest of the Blue Ridge Mountains.  Along the
parkway are several recreational areas and cultural
sites.  The cultural sites feature displays on how
people lived in Appalachia.
